Covenham Reservoir is a reservoir and treatment works that is approximately 200 acres in its entirety. Construction of the reservoir started in 1963 and finished in 1978.
The total number of species recorded at covenham reservoir, is around 230, dominated mainly by waterfowl, terns and wading birds - this is due to the rather limited habitats.
Access is via a car park located to the north-west of the reservoir. Once parked, walk up the road to the sailing club.
