About the Guillemot

The guillemot is a dark brown and white seabird with black legs and a medium-length beak. They are similar to razorbills, although not as dark with their colouring.

There are copious numbers of Guillemots on many of the UK's coasts, particularly on stretches with cliffs. You'll only see these birds come to land when nesting, as they spend most of their lives out at sea.

What does a Guillemot eat?

Their diets consist of crustaceans and fish.
