Ariant

Ariant is a mountainous site just out of Pollensa which is just off the road to Lluc. It is often described as the jewel in the crown of the Serra de Tramuntana and the old house there belongs to the FVSM. It is also the home of the largest feeding and breeding population of Black Vultures. There is a viewing tower where there are spectacular views where the valleys join the sea and mountains. From here in the distance, you can see the sea cliffs where the Black Vulture nests along with Eleonora’s Falcon and Osprey. It also has the traditional Mallorcan mountain species such as Balearic Warbler and Cirl Bunting.
